Ten Thousand Voices, One Journey | LinkedIn with 10k Followers | Why I Chose Honesty Over Algorithms

I have an important announcement to make here. Before I proceed with this special update, I want you all to stay patient and remain with me from start to finish.

Though I dislike writing such personalised columns in the middle of my academic examinations, I have no other choice.

From my busy schedule, I managed to spare some time to create this column and let my well-wishers, critics, and connections know what I have been up to lately.

To begin with, just today I checked my network list and was startled to discover that I now have exactly 10,000+ followers on LinkedIn.

I am usually the last person to worry about follower counts, as I value connections more than numbers. Still, I feel pleased to have reached this point on my own terms. I do not follow platform algorithms.

Instead, I write straight from the heart about issues I feel are worth addressing. I neither rely on clickbait techniques nor stick to a so-called professional mould that limits conversations to work niches alone.

I may have a quiet mind, but I carry many thoughts to express—many questions to raise and many concerns to point out.

At the same time, I do speak about professional matters from time to time. In that sense, I remain a maverick—the bohemian, or even the so-called sulking pot, who never hesitates to call a spade a spade.

By now, since you are part of my network here, you likely understand my outlook.

There is one more piece of exciting news I wish to share—the recent honour I received at my workplace. The feeling has not fully sunk in yet.

It felt like a double bonanza, paired with triple celebrations around the corner, when I will collect my MAJMC degree certificate next summer.

By “double bonanza,” I mean the office recognition, which included two lovely gifts: a trophy and a certificate. I cannot stop thinking about it. The images of both have etched themselves into my memory—today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Adding to this joy is the presence of 10,000 wonderful members in my network, which I see as nothing less than an extended family.

With these words, I sign off for now, promising to keep you informed and engaged through my weekly columns, written with greater care, clarity, and sincerity.

Before I go, I want to once again let you all know that I wish nothing but the best for each of you. I also take this opportunity to wish you a glorious Merry Christmas 2025 and a very Happy New Year 2026.

As 2025 prepares to take its place in the annals of history, I wish you all continued learning, wisdom, good health, and the clarity to take pragmatic steps whenever you choose to act.

Push yourself beyond your limits to achieve what you haven’t so far—but never at the cost of your mental or physical well-being. Bye for now!
