She Came Back for What They Did | Echoes of an Unwanted Life | Born, Buried, Returned
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.”
That line may sound familiar. This story isn’t.
Wilbur and Melanie were just checking out the first phase of love. Infatuation, physical attraction, emotional attachment, spending time together… all was going well. Nobody knew what destiny had already planned for them.
On a hot summer noon, Melanie, the beautiful lass in her mid-twenties, plunged into the swimming pool, flaunting her bikini-clad body and beauty, while Wilbur, the handsome lad in his late twenties, was drooling, seeing her from behind while resting on a sun lounger.
Unable to control his testosterone any longer, he also plunged into the pool, and voila, in a minute or two, he was clasping Melanie as if there were no tomorrow. They spent quality time together, kissed, and enjoyed lots of intimate moments that any lovebirds or couple are expected to share, unaware of what was in store for them.
Fun Without Fear?
In a week, much to her surprise, she found herself expecting. She didn’t know what to do. She was just completing her PhD in Psychology—a student. Forget the baby, even marriage was completely out of her life’s syllabus. The irony is, despite being an advanced Psychology student, Melanie didn’t exactly know what Wilbur wanted or if physical intimacy was the only thing he was interested in.
Just to break the news, she calmly and anxiously told Wilbur about it. Nonchalantly, Wilbur acknowledged it but was completely absolved of his responsibility and put the onus on Melanie to decide whether to bring the little soul into the world or do the unthinkable.
Feeling betrayed, Melanie thought of filing a police complaint against Wilbur, but then she realized it was her mistake too. She shouldn’t have put all her belief and faith in Wilbur, though both had known each other for the last six months, and the attraction was too strong to ignore.
After much thought, she did the unthinkable—yes, infanticide. After nine months, the little baby opened her eyes only to see a devil in front of her. It was her mom, but the latter considered her an unwanted child that came from an unwanted pregnancy. Meanwhile, Wilbur was now Melanie’s ex, as Melanie moved to another city.
The Ruthless Revenge
Exactly one year had passed. Melanie was remorseless, while Wilbur was still eyeing many more girls. He certainly was a Casanova-type guy. One night, Wilbur and his new girlfriend, Sarah, were enjoying a long drive on the way to the countryside, where the couple decided to spend three cozy days and nights together, far from the madding crowd.
Just in the middle of the road, on a very dark night, they saw a little baby, around 2–3 months old, wearing a white tee, randomly crawling on the road. As they came near, her face became pale, and she smiled, before both Sarah and Wilbur were slashed with a sledgehammer!
Coincidentally, it was the same day Wilbur and Melanie had enjoyed intimacy at the cost of a little one’s life. Just for a few minutes of fun, they gave the tag of “unwanted pregnancy,” followed by “unwanted child,” to the little soul who wasn’t even born at that time.
In Conclusion
The next day, the newspaper headline read: “A young couple died due to an accident” en route to the countryside. And a young psychologist lost her life while playing with a baby (ominous) doll. Coincidentally, all this happened exactly one year later, when Melanie and Wilbur had met at the pool for romance.
But who wrote “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer” on the car’s glass pane and the room wall, where Melanie, Wilbur, and Sarah were killed?
Just for fun, they brought a little soul to life and ended her life when she was alive. Now, after one year, she took her revenge.
Say No to INFANTICIDE!
