Well, the festival, #Maharana Pratap Jayanti, is celebrated and observe in the name of the very great king of India, Maharana Pratap (1568-1597 C.E.), we all remember him for his valor and courage, and then we mark our respect and admiration for this gigantic king.
He was a Hindu Rajput King of Mewar in Rajasthan, India. He belonged to the Sisodiya clan of Rajputs.
#Maharana Pratap is indeed honored and worshipped by the several families in the state Rajasthan, and also some other Rajput people, in India because we all consider him as an epitome of the courage and bravery, without a doubt.
The great king, #Maharana Pratap is widely famous and known for Battle of Haldighati, which he fought against Mughal emperor Akbar and I must say, we all study about the war and the battle, Battle of Haldighati, in our school study and course, during our childhood days.
The king, Maharana Pratap, was the 13th king of Mewar, this one is a region in north-western India which is the present day state of Rajasthan, India.
