On the 14th of April, we all observe and celebrate, the festival, Ambedkar Jayanti, which is a very special day.
The Ambedkar Jayanti, the Indian festival, is regarded as the Bhim Jayanti, too, which is an annual occasion observed on 14 April, which commemorates the memory of B. R. Ambedkar.
The day is marked as the Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar‘s birthday, and he was born on the 14 April 1891. In 2015 the day was declared as the Public Holiday and has been observed as an official public holiday in the whole nation, since, then the practice is continuing.
We all celebrate the festival, with huge enthusiasm and zeal, not only in the subcontinent, but also in the abroad, and by some Diaspora, Indian populace also.
This is also customary for the honorable present President, and Prime Minister of India to pay homage at the statue of Ambedkar at the Parliament of India in New Delhi.
In India also people visit local statues in order to commemorate the festival, Ambedkar Jayanti and in order to seek blessings from him.
