The Odisha Day is also known as widely, #Odisha Divasa and Utkala Divasa, which we all celebrate and observe, annually, on the 1st of April, as this was the date when the state #Odisha, was being separated and a single state was formatted as Odisha in 1 April 1936 and because of this big achievement, we all celebrate the #OdishaDay on this date.

Somehow, the state was lost its complete political identity in 1568 after the last king of the state, Mukunda Dev was defeated and died.
So a politically separate state was formed eventually, under British rule on a linguistic basis on 1 April 1936.
This year it marks the 83rd anniversary of the Utkal Dibasa or the foundation day of #Odisha.
The honorable President of the India, Ram Nath Kovind, and the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik showered with much love and wishes on this special day, of the Utkala Dibasa or the #Odisha Day.
