1). Ramudu- Bheemudu – Ram Aur Shyam

The super hit Telugu movie ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’ hit theatres in 1964. Tapi Chanakya directed the film which features N.T.Rama Rao, Jamuna, Relangi and Rajanala in lead roles. It was the first movie of D. Rama Naidu as a producer. N.T. Rama Rao essayed double roles in the movie.

“Ramudu” and “Bheemudu” as the key characters which were popular in those eras and its Tamil remake was ‘Enga Veettu Pillai’ released in 1965 which starred M. G. R.

Maro Charitra is a Telugu romantic tragedy film of 1978, directed by the legendary director K Balachander featured Kamal Haasan and Saritha in the lead roles.

It featured a cross-cultural romance between a boy and a girl who belong to different castes of Tamil and Telugu respectively.
