On this Wednesday the India is ready to observe and rejoice and celebrate the festival called the Sharad Purnima. Sharad Purnima is regarded as very blissful and very beautiful celebration and festival of India as per the all Hinduism believes.

On the day of Sharad Purnima, in West Bengal people worship the Goddess Laxmi and the festival Sharad Purnima in the West Bengal is known as the Kojagori Laxmi Puja.  In the West Bengal on this day which is celebrate as the Kojagori Laxmi Puja when all Bengali married women observe fast from morning.

In the evening time, all Bengali women offer puja and prayer to the Laxmi Maata and they also offer her puja stuffs and bhog, which includes, fruits, sindur, Alta, puri, sabji, milk, naivaidya, chandan, sweets, nariyal mithaii and so on.

Means, literally, everybody including friends and family take part in this Sharad Purnima puja which we organized in our house and come together in this puja ceremony.
