This festival, is predominately, observe by the Hindus and Jains people, in the countries, India and Nepal, mainly, however, the festival, Akshaya Tritiya, is a global, Hindu festival, which is observed by each Hindu beings on this whole world.

On the other hand, date and time of the festival, Akshaya Tritiya, can be varied and this one is set as per the lunisolar Hindu calendar, which is falls in the months of the April or May each and every year, according to the Gregorian calendar.

The word “Akshayya” (अक्षय्य), means in Sanskrit, is “imperishable, everlasting, the never diminishing” which is indicates and signifies the “prosperity, hope, joy, success”, while Tritiya means “third”, so the Hindu festival, Akshaya Tritiya, is all about bringing happiness and success in our lives.
