Nashik Hosts Successful ‘Frontiers In Onco-Surgery’ Conference At HCGMCC, Drawing Oncologists Nationwide
Nashik, June 07: India’s leading cancer care hospital – HCG Manavata Cancer Centre (HCGMCC) recently concluded a highly successful ‘Frontiers In Onco-Surgery’ conference from 3rd to 5th May. The event, participated by over 100 leading oncologists from various parts of India, showcased cutting-edge advancements and best practices in cancer treatment. The 3-day event included a pre-conference surgical workshop followed by two days of video based conference featuring a diverse range of sessions focusing on key areas such as Head & Neck, Breast, Thorax, Bone & Soft Tissue, GI & HPB and Genito Urinary. The aim of the event was to learn from real-world case studies and first-hand experiences, particularly highlighting the strides made in robotic surgeries for cancer treatments. This advancement is paramount as it ensures improved patient outcomes and swift recovery post-surgery.
The 3-day event also hosted surgical video competition among residents from all over the country. Awards were given out in two categories for the best submitted minimal invasive and open surgery videos of Rs.40,000/- for the first winner, Rs.30,000/- for the second and Rs.25,000/- for the third.
