These days, I have been constantly hearing about how AI-generated content and AI content detectors are downgrading the morale of content professionals.

Here’s my two cents on it:

If you are using an AI tool for writing content, go and tell it to your client or employer. You are not doing anything illegal or unethical.

In fact, many business firms have subscribed to premium AI tools for their day-to-day content generation purposes. Also, some websites proudly showcase their AI-generated content on their website, clearly mentioning that their blogs are written by AI. They consider it as a badge of honor, even when they have a dedicated content team.

Furthermore, AI-generated content doesn’t affect your Google or search engine rankings either. Many times, AI content ranks higher than original human #content and vice versa. So, neither #AI or human writers can guarantee you leads or traffic.

Secondly, there’s a rave about using AI tools for social media these days. 9 out of 10 are using it. And you can easily identify AI-generated social media content just by looking at the use of so many #emojis in a particular post.

Now, Do I hate AI tools? It’s both yes & no. I not only hate AI tools, but I also hate Grammarly, search engines, various #SEO tools, and #socialmedia schedulers as well.

I am a guy from the ’90s era. I love the days of yore when we used to write for newspapers, magazines, & poetry books, relying solely on our imagination.

With the advent of IT, writing has become client-centric. It has been integrated into marketing as well. But the high-handedness of clients is unacceptable. I’ll tell you why:

I) Clients want your content to be 100% specific but human-written. It’s impossible. Unless your content has emotions, redundancy, passive voice, and intelligent paraphrasing, it will continue to look similar to AI-generated ones.

That’s why even much straightforward and up-to-the-point content, though original, is flagged as AI-generated.

ii) The more you suppress your imagination while writing due to SEO rules, the more worthless your content becomes.

iii) Getting your content on top of #Google neither guarantees new leads nor conversions. Many times, websites appearing on top of search engines are literally performing very poorly compared to brands that appear on the 2nd/ 3rd page of Google or don’t have any ranking as such.

Some business deals are purely closed based on acquaintances, networking, & social media! Clients need to focus on these aspects, too.

Writers need to play with words. Be imaginative and #creative. Up-to-the-point conversation is not always what readers want.

In a nutshell, if you write for bots and search engines, then don’t expect human readers to ready for buy anything from you. #Bing #Edit #heart #JobsšŸ’•
