India Gears Up for Miss World 2025: How Excited Are You?

India is going to host the prestigious 72nd beauty pageant contest of #MissWorld. As many as over 140 beauties from 140 nations are going to participate in this contest, likely showcasing their beauty, intellect, and possibly winning over #audiences with their sweet demeanour, starting this May.

So, as #India & #Hyderabad gear up to make this a gala event, I am also excited about it. Since childhood, fashion has always attracted me, but like every other Indian guy, I have always been a bit apprehensive, though I have always been a fashion connoisseur. And the problem for a guy in the world of fashion is that the route is much more difficult than it is for girls. While there are so many beauty pageants for girls, unfortunately, for boys, there are very few.

There are not too many events for them, and moreover, the events for boys are not that popular either. Not too many guys and girls know about them. After all, how many people know about Mr. World 2024 as compared to the number of people who know about Miss World 2024? That’s why I want these types of beauty pageants to be held frequently in our country.

The sheer amount of twinkle in the eyes of #beauty #pageant contestants is a sight to behold. And don’t forget, there are multiple rounds before the final three are shortlisted. So, plenty of excitement awaits.

Now, everyone knows that holding such a prestigious event means the draining of taxpayers’ money, and so does the state exchequer. But the same is true even in the case of holding any sports event or political summit. For example, even if you hold an Olympics tournament some years from now and the same is hosted by a state-owned body, then it is bound to involve a lot of investment.

But that doesn’t mean we should stop holding these types of #global events. Be it fashion, sports, or film events—these things can definitely be a good source of enhancing soft diplomacy while improving our ties with other nations and bringing India onto the global map, hogging the limelight for all the right reasons.

Everyone needs a break, and so do we. We are tired of being cynical and witnessing the daily political slugfest in the name of religion, caste, creed, or development vs. anti-development. This is what is now being served to India’s otherwise gullible viewers in the name of breaking news. It’s nothing but a complete mockery of journalism. I want all sections of society to stay united and welcome the positive things happening around us, feel proud, & be positive. #SpreadLove #Peace
