The first look of Vijay’s movie Sarkar has been unveiled and launched prior to the much fanfare on the Thalapathy’s birthday.

In The first poster of the movie Sarkar, Vijay is just looking dapper and handsome in which the leading man has been seen Vijay brandishing a black cigarette with a skyscraper backdrop, which can be reflected and seen in the hoarding.

though, the first look of the movie Sarkar and its poster received criticism for ‘promoting’ smoking.

Previously, already, Anbumani Ramadoss, the ex-health minister Anbumani Ramadoss had criticised the poster in a and write against it on his official page of the microblogging site. “You’ll look more stylish without that cigarette. #SmokingKills #SmokingCausesCancer,”


In his another tweet, he writes, “Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in this first look of his next movie. #ActResponsibly #DoNotPromoteSmoking.”

And now it seems like that the Health Department of the Tamil Nadu has sent notices to the actor Vijay and director AR Murugadoss regarding this same issue.

As per another media reports, the makers have been warned that legal action will be taken against the movie Sarkar and its team if the provocation poster will not be taken down.

Subsequent to this, the first look image and poster has been taken down from the official handle of Sun Pictures, which did bankroll of the movie Sarkar.

Vijay’s twitter handles now release first look of the movie Sarkar with a statutory smoking warning added to the bottom of the poster. The new version of the poster has been uploaded hours before.

Apart from Vijay, the much awaited and the anticipated movie Sarkar features, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu in the other important others.

The ace-musician AR Rahman composed music of this typical commercial entertainment, marking AR Murugadoss’ first collaboration with the Mozart of Madras in Tamil.

Sarkar will be edited on the table of Sreekar Prasad and cinematography of the movie is done by Girish Gangadharan. Sarkar is marked Vijay’s third collaboration with AR Murgadoss after Thuppaki and Kaththi, both of which were blockbusters. Sarkar is all set to hit theatres on this Diwali.
