The delicious crab curry is a very simple dish. Prepare it easily at your home now and relish with family members.
1) Crab- 1 kg
2) Onion- 500 gm
3) Garlic- 2 big pieces
4) Ginger- 50 gm
5) Tomato Puree- 1Cup
6) Garam masala- 2 tablespoon
7) Red chilli Powder- 2 tablespoon
8) Turmeric Powder- 2 tablespoon
9) Salt – as per taste
10) Sugar- half table spoon
11) Curd- 1 cup
12) Fresh Cream-2 spoon
13) Kasoori Methi- 1 tablespoon
14) Coconut milk- 1 cup
15) Coconut powder- 2 tablespoon
16) Cumin Powder- 1 table spoon
17) Coriander powder- 1 tablespoon
18) Ghee- 4 tablespoon
19) Olive Oil- 2tablespoon
20) Coriander leaves- 5 big leaves
Points to Remember:
Always use fresh crabs for preparing a delicious dish of it.
Crabs are a kind of aquatic animal found in seas and rivers.
It is hugely popular in India and other south Asian nations.
This can easily be purchased from market.
Good for health unless you are allergic to it.
Wash the crab carefully and then boil it for few minutes in a cooking pan.
Once it is boiled, take aside the same at a corner of your gas stove.
Now let another frying pan to heat over the gas and add ghee inside it.
Fry the boiled crab with salt (as per taste) in the frying pan. and keep in an another bowl.
Add chopped Tomato puree, onions, Red chilli powder, Kasoori methi, garlic, ginger, Curd, turmeric powder and cumin powder and coriander powder .
Now put the fried crab over the masala, fry it for some time than put 1 and half cup water on it and let it boil.
Add salt and sugar as per taste.
Now fry it for another 10 minutes.
Add coconut milk and Garam Masala and pour on a fresh bowl once it is cooked.
Add green chilli, corinader leaves , grind coconut and ring shaped tomatoes to garnish the same.
Now serve it with hot basmati steam rice and Raita.
Those who are allergic to crab must stay away from Crab Curry.
How to make Raita
Take one bowl curd, 2 green chillis, few coriander leaves, 1 chopped onion and add salt as per taste.
Now garnish it with fried cumin powder and red one chilli and little black salt. Now mix the same in a single pan.
The Delicious Indian Raita is now ready to be served. It tastes best when taken with freshly prepared crab curry. It tastes awesome. Indians love it and prepare it frequently on special occasions.
