The Tamil actor Jiiva is all set to mark his acting debut in the Bollywood with the upcoming sports drama, 83. As we all know, the forthcoming movie, 83, is a sports drama, means a biopic which is reportedly based on the life of the former cricketer Kapil Dev.
The Simmba actor, Ranveer Singh is playing the lead role in the movie, which is directed by, Kabir Khan. The movie 83 is touted as one of the most awaited and anticipated movie of the year.
So many biopics are presenting by the Bollywood these days, very recently, it presented the historical drama Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika, based on the life of the Rani Laxmi Bai.
The movie received a decent response from the audiences, but much before that biopic on the veteran actor Sanjay Dutt’s life, Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor starrer received a dhamakedaar response from the fans.

Actor Jiiva retweeted news in which it is mentioned that he will reprise the role of the former cricketer, Krishnamachari Srikkant, widely known as Srikkant, so maybe it is quite possible that the actor Jiiva will do the role of Kapil Dev’s contemporary Srikkant.
Earlier it was reported; that the actor, Vijay Deverakonda, will play the supporting role in the movie 83 and he shall portray the role of Srikkant’s onscreen but now the official report come that Jiiva will be seen in the role of Srikkant.
The sports drama 83 will narrate the story of 1983, historical World Cup, when the team India has emerged as the winner at the Lord’s Stadium, of England. Ranveer Singh is playing the lead role in the movie and he will essay the role of Kapil Dev.
Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, and Vibri Media have jointly produced the movie; very soon the sports drama is all set to go on the floor.
