The whole country is excited about the Rath Yatra 2018 ceremony and this one is the biggest festival in the name of the Lord Jagannath and this is 140th Rath Yatra. From this Sunday on 25th June Rath Yatra will start with full glory.

The specialty of the occasion is for the year 2018 is that on this year the Lord Jagannath will appear in the avatar of Yaduvanshi and he will be appearing in front of the common public.

There are many expectations from the Rath Yatra of Ahmedabad as the festival of the city is touted as second largest most “RathaYatra” after Puri.

The Ahmedabad Yatra is also famous because, as per believes on this city the Lord Jagannath appeared with his brothers and sister Balbadhra and Subhadra respectively.  So devotee joins the rath yatra and they also go in travel for the whole city in the name of the Lord Jagannath.

In the sacred Yatra of Ahmedabad it will be joined by the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and as per various reports the path of the Lord will be clean with the golden broom and it is also done as per ritual every year. The pious Yatra will start from the morning.

Much before that at the early morning of 4:00 AM devotees will be offered Aarti to the Lord and will be served Bhog to God means Prasad, which is Khichdi. Amit Shah will be gracing the occasion.

101 truck, 19 cities of Gujarat:

The Rath Yatra will be 14 kilometers long with 19 Shringharit and in this important festival to honor the glory of the country a beautiful Jhankhi will be presented by the devotee.

101 trucks will be on the journey with a group of people who will be seen singing Bhajan in the name of the Lord and many people will be also showcasing their different talents by doing different various types of the creative stuff.

Priests will be obviously with the devotees and the Rath Yatra will be visiting cities like, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Nasik, Ujjain, Jaganathpuri with more than 2000 saints and priests will be part of this journey.

In this glorious event more than 30,000 KG Mung Daal, 500 KG Jamun, 300 KG tamarind, 400 KG cucumber and 400 KG other fruits will be given to the Lord as Prasad of the Puja.

Devotees can catch the glance of Lord from 24th June

During the Rath Yatra devotee can see the glance of the Lord Jagannath from 24th June, then in the noon at 3: 00 PM the Puja will be the start of the pious Rath. Guests will be, come from 4:00 PM where the honorable Chief Minister will be also presented.

At the evening after 6:00 PM people can join the Aarti ceremony alongside the guests and devotees to perform the Puja of the Lord Jagannath. The Maha Aarti will be performing in the night at 8:00 PM.

From the city Ahmedabad Rath Yatra will begin from the Lord Jagannath temple in the morning at 7:00 AM then the path of Rath Yatra will be like this:

7:00 AM: Rath Yatra will start from the temple Jagannath

9:00 AM: Rath Yatra will begin with auspicious and will be reached to the Mahanagar Palika Parisar

9:45 AM: Rath Yatra will be reached to the Raipur Chakla

10:30 AM: Rath Yatra will be reached on the Khadia Chauraha

11:15 AM: Kolhapur Chowraha.

12 AM: Saraspur.

1:30 PM: Kalpur Chowraha.

2:30 AM: Prem Darwaza.

3:15 AM: Delhi Chakla.

3:45 PM: Shahpur Darwaza.

4.30 PM: R.C. High School.

5:00 PM: Ghee Kantha.

5:45 PM: Pankor Naka

6:30 PM: Manke Chowk.

8.30 PM: Rath Yatra will be going back to the Lord Jagannath temple.

Note: Special police team will be there at the Ratha Yatra ceremony only to safeguard the devotees and to give proper police protection to them.
