Well, the festival called the Valmiki Jayanti is all about the Indian Philosopher Valmiki who is celebrated as the harbinger-poet as per the Sanskrit literature.

One of the famous Indian epic Ramayana, dated variously from the 5th century BCE to the first century BCE is attributed to him, which is based on the attribution in the text itself and this is something just awesome and superb to know exactly and literally.
