The trailer of J P Dutta’s forthcoming war drama movie Paltan was released on Thursday and the movie Paltan is touted as an absolutely honest and this will be yet to see whether the movie will hold us till the end or not with the no big star cast there in the movie we are having!

The trailer was yet to show 1962 Indo-China war (which marked its ending when China declared unilateral ceasefire but the Indian army suffered enormous casualties because of the same) with dramatic war footage and animated narration depicted in the movie Paltan too.

Soon, the scene shifts to 1967 and OTT dialogue deliveries attempt to drive home the point that India and China can depict the military clash – a moment of revelation arrives and now it is clear that, reportedly, the movie #Paltan is based on the Nathu La and Cho La military clashes, which took place in October of 1967, in the Indo-Chinese border.

The trailer of #Paltan gives us the glimpses of the ensemble star cast for the movie, comprising Arjun Rampal, Jackie Shroff, Gurmeet Choudhary, Siddhanth Kapoor (Shraddha Kapoor’s brother), Harshvardhan Rane and Luv Sinha (Sonakshi Sinha’s brother), who will be making his Bollywood debut with the film.

The actresses Sonal Chauhan and Deepika Kakkar, who play the wives of the militaries, will be going to see in the brief roles.

With the movie #Paltan, J P Dutta is marking his return as director after a hiatus gap of 12 years – 2006’s Umrao Jaan was the last movie he helmed.

J P Dutta is best known for his war movies, inclosing, Refugee, Border and LOC Kargil. #Paltan is all set to hit screens on this 7th September 2018.

It seems like the new war movie,  #Paltan, is inspired from the, from the, 1964 movie, Haqeeqat, which was also based on the Indo-Sino war of 1962.
