The festival, called, Pahela Baishakh (Bengali: পহেলা বৈশাখ), is a Bengali festival, which is predominantly, celebrate in the West Bengal, by the Hindu Bengalis.
The Pahela Baishakh, is a big and one of the most prominent, fiesta, is also known as the Bangla Nabobarsho (Bengali: বাংলা নববর্ষ, Bangla Nôbobôrsho) and the day, #PahelaBaishakh, is regarded as the 1st day, in the Bengali Calendar as per the Wikipedia.
We all Bengali Hindu citizen of India, also of the aboard, celebrate the above-mentioned festival, on the 14 or the 15th April which is also a public and national holiday in the Bangladesh, and also in the Indian states, which are rich with Bengali heritage and culture, like West Bengal, Tripura, in some parts of the Assam and Odisha, irrespective of their religious faith.
Date of this festival is set as per the lunisolar Bengali calendar, according, to the first day of its first month Baishakh.
Thus, most of the time, the Hindu festival, Pahela Baishakh, it falls on the 14th April on the Gregorian calendar.

The Pahela Baishakh is a harvest festival, and this one is in West Bengal and among the Bengali people, celebrate as the Pahela Baishakh, but this same festival, is celebrated in the name of Baisakhi, in the Central and the Northern part of India, as Vishu, in Kerala and as Puthandu in Tamil Nadu and so on.
