The movie Muthu was actually, released in 1995 which iconic successful movie of the Kollywood was in the same year.

KS Ravikumar helmed the movie Muthu which is touted as cult classic movie of the actor Rajnikanth. Initially, the movie was release in Japan on 1998 as Muthu – Oduru Maharaja in dubbed Japanese language.

Ahead the original release date of the movie was 1995 but this time again the film will be release in Japan with some technically advanced version and elements put in the movie.

The movie Muthu is also turn to be first Indian movie turn to be surprise hit in Japan, other than Hollywood movies. Muthu was Deepavali released of the 1995 and after almost 2 decades, the film will be release in Japan, in original Tamil language with Japanese subtitles.

Apart from the megastar, Rajinikanth, the iconic movie Muthu, also features, Sarath Babu, Meena, late Raghuvaran, Jayabharathi in other pivotal roles.

Rajini is already having a loyal fan base in Japan, so it is expected that this time also the movie Muthu will be massive successful, like the way it was in 1998.

The movie Muthu is a romantic beautiful love story managed to impress fans and the movie received mixed and critical response and feedback from critics.

The Oscar Award Winner, AR Rahman, composed music of the movie, and bankrolled of the movie done by Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandaswamy under the banner of Kavithalayaa Productions. Priyadarshan penned story of the cult classic Muthu which was connect with the mass.
