Because of this special day the, The Government of Karnataka, also declared the Rajyotsava Awards which give honour to all those Kannada speaking people who achieve something on their lives and on their own various filed or walks of the lives but each one have to be connected with the soul of Karnataka and the day, Kannada Rajyotsava is all about that.

In 1905, it was the first person, Aluru Venkata Rao decided and proposed to unify the State and with his all efforts he made his dream come true.

Kannada Rajyotsava is the special day which is rejoice and celebrated with great joy and energy all over the state of Karnataka. In the whole state, Karnataka, on the day of the Kannada Rajyotsava, all kinds of color spread, specially, red and yellow which is the crucial color of the state.

In the whole state, Karnataka, the Kannada anthem and the Kannada Rajyotsava anthem chanted which one is the, “Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate”, a very prominent and famous anthem of the state.

Alongside the celebrations take place in the Karnataka, it is also observed in other regions of India where we can observe meaty Kannadiga population like Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, some parts of abroad, like, Unted State of Arab, US, Germeny and so on.
