Hyderabad: After a hiatus gap of the 8 long years, the Hyderabad New Metro is all set to open in this November.
The Hyderabad Metro project is extended over three corridors – covering approximately around 72km of the distance. The 30km stretch that is gearing up for operations in November is consists of the lines running between Miyapur and Nagole, with Ameerpet as the transaction station between corridor I (Miyapur-LB Nagar) and corridor III (Nagole to Raidurg).
Post a gap of the eight years, Hyderabad people are all set to have their own Metro Rail services which will go viral in the city soon!
As per a report published in the Times of India, the Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has already sent a formal letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The respected Chief Minister of Telangana KCR invited the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to inaugurate the event of the Hyderabad Metro, 30km Metro Rail service between Nagole and Miyapur.
“You may kindly recall the personal invitation to you on 25.5.2017 in New Delhi requesting you to make it convenient to inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project (Phase I) in November 2017,” the invitation letter, writes.
As per the HMRL authorities, all crucial and important works are expected to be finished till 15th October.
“The remaining work will be completed before November 1,” Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd (HMRL) managing director NVS Reddy stated to the media portal TOI.
Reportedly, Hyderabad Metro is the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project that launched with a budget of Rs. 15,000 crores which are a big deal literally.
Apparently, the crossing point junction or station at Ameerpet will be one of the largest Metro stations in the whole nation, widen over a massive two lakh sq.ft.
Divided into 3 levels, the station will assist the 2 corridors simultaneously with corridor I on the lower level and corridor III constructed over it. There will be common points at all the three levels of these both corridors, which otherwise are divided into two separate lines.
The Hyderabad’s Metro Rail is estimated to be the largest project under Public Private Partnership (PPP) with a huge budget is also said to represent the country India on the large scale.
Anyway, when the Hyderabad Metro will begin its operations in November, it will bring a huge breathing space to countless commuters which will be also concerning towards time and money of the citizen.
