The carnival, Holi is lasted for a night and a day, which begins on the evening of Purnima (Full Moon day) as per the religion Hinduism, falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar, which is also the month of Phalgun, means as per the Gregorian calendar, somewhere between the end of February and the middle of March.

Holi is last for 2 days, and the first day of the festival, we rejoice as the Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi and the second day is celebrated as the festival, #Holi. Something which is very common in the day of the festival, #Holi, is good food.

On this day, we all Indians invites guests in our house and serve them good food, handover them gifts and much before that we apply gulal on each other’s face, which is a traditional gesture going on from the long period of time among all Hindu people and all Indian people.
