Then they need to decorate their house and then will perform puja of the Mahaguari, on the occasion of the Ashtami, and they need to offer, Prasad, fruits, flowers, aggarbatti, to the Hindu deity, she is also regarded as the epitome of the women empowerment and the female power.

She is auspicious, brilliant and protects the good people but she will not spare, or forgive the bad people for their evil deeds.

The Mother Gauri has also enlightened the spiritual seeker, which also removes the fear of rebirth and provide salvation to her followers.
