Actor Vijay Joseph’s recently released movie “Mersal” is a matter of controversies these days.
Reportedly a particular scene of the film is not going well with the BJP leaders.
The latest news is coming which is said that a person who alleges to be a fan of actor Vijay has been arrested by police for posting offensive comments on social media against our honorable PM Narendra Modi.
Pandemonium on Mersal:
There is said to be a scene in the movie Mersal where the leading man Vijay has been seen slams the government, where he addressed the very recent issue of GST.
The political party BJP leaders demanded that the scene should be deleted from the movie but the makers said they won’t delete any scene from the movie.
A 19-yr youth named Thirumurugan has been taken into custody by the police in Sriviliputhur town on October 30 and the youth has been locked in the jail in Melur.
K Marimuthu, a BJP district secretary has been filed the complaint.
K Marimuthu is a friend of Thirumurugan on Facebook sent him a meme about Mersal which didn’t go well with Thirumurugan.
On seeing this meme Thirumurugan had made some insulting and offensive comments about PM Modi in the private chat. Marimuthu submitted a photograph of the bad comments made by the youngster on Facebook.
Thirumurugan has been booked under Section 505 (public mischief) of CrPC and Section 67 of IT Act, 2000.
Virudhunagar SP M Rajarajan said,
“Both were Facebook friends. When Marimuthu sent Thirumurugan a meme on Facebook Messenger criticising Vijay’s controversial dialogues in the movie Mersal, Thirumurugan used filthy language in his reply referring to the PM. The conversation in English was photographed by Marimuthu and filed a complaint.”
“He has been booked under charges including Section 67 of the IT Act, 2000 and Section 505 (public mischief) of CrPC.”
