Earthquake shakes New Delhi and the northern part of the India, the news is trending since morning which is a topic of discussion among the citizen as well as among the netizens of the social site. A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale trembled the national capital and neighbouring area of Haryana in the wee hours today.

According to the National Center for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the mild tremor hit Delhi at around 4.30 am and was epicentre near Delhi-Haryana border.  Tremors were felt by the public in New Delhi and parts of National Capital Region (NCR) after a 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck on the Delhi-Haryana border this mid-morning. The tremors, which lasted nearly a minute, shook Delhi and near area Gurgaon and Ghaziabad around 4:30 am. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the epicentre of the earthquake was at the Delhi-Haryana border means the earthquake from that side according to the National Center for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences,
