The Momo is a WhatsApp suicide game which is turned to be disturbing which is now reportedly taken a 12-year-old girl’s life in Argentina. The game Momo has now found its way into India when a college student from West Bengal filing a complaint with the state police that an unknown caller trying to provoke her into taking part in the Memo Game Challenge.
Police forces in the number of nations have expressed concern about Momo, which is alike to the Blue Whale ‘challenge’ which is the reported reason of 130 suicides took place in Russia.

As per the Computer Crime Investigation Unit in the Mexican state of Tabasco, the game begins on the social media account Facebook where members were “challenged” to communicate and converse with an unknown number.
The avatar used by Momo is an image of a woman with grotesque features and bulging eyes and this one is taken from an art of the Japanese artist Midori Hayashi, who is not on the other hand, associated with the game in anyhow.
From Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, the first year college student said In her complaint, that because of a quarrel with her mother, she had posted in the social media that she wished to die as there is nothing in her life now.
She soon received a Whatsapp message on her Smartphone from an unknown number allegedly inviting her to take the Momo Game challenge.
When she tries to find out and know the sender’s identity, the person revealed it verbally, she said to the cop.
Frightened to see the situation, the girl told to cop that she had informed her elder brother, who warned her against taking part in this Momo Game challenge.
She then informed the cop. The BBC News Portuguese language site citing Rodrigo Nejm of Brazil’s NGO Safernet told it is now unclear how widespread the game is but this is said as per reports, that the Momo Game challenge is most likely a form of “bait” used by criminals to steal data and force from people on the internet as per various media reports said regarding the Momo Game challenge.
