As we all know the forthcoming movie Mahanati is regarded as one of the most exciting forthcoming projects of this 2018. The story of the movie Mahanati is loosely based on the life of the legendary actress, Savithri.
The movie Mahanati features the dazzling diva Keerthy Suresh in the lead and seems like she obviously gets into the skin of the South Indian actress Savithri.
From the first rushes, fans are happy to see the eerie resemblance between the real late actress Savithri and the reel-actress Keerthy Suresh.
Away from each other as we all know Keerthy plays the lead role in the movie Mahanati, the melodrama Mahanati will be also features the superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the role of Jamuna, a close friend of the actress Savithri.
The Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan will be making his Telugu debut with the movie Mahanati, and he has essayed the role of legendary actor Gemini Ganesan, Savithri’s husband, Vijay Devarakonda, Shalini Pandey are playing other important roles.
This venture is considered as the big venture, perhaps another actor is coming on the board. She is known for her blessed beauty and powerhouse of talent.
This South actress is currently top of her game and she is the Bahubali actress Anushka Shetty. Anushka is reportedly new name joined in the star cast of the multi-starrer much-awaited movie Mahanati.
As per fragmentary reports, the actress has been roped in this Keerthy Suresh’s movie in order to essay the role of Bhanumathi, one of Savithri’s famous contemporaries.
Bhanumathi was one of the most talented actresses of her time. In fact, some said that Savithri became a superstar because of her as the movie she rejected was passed on to Savithri!
“The role requires a mature performer who can carry off the veteran’s egoistic attitude, which was her famous character trait,” said in a Deccan Chronicle report. No wonder, Anushka Shetty will b surely going to do justice with the role of Bhanumathi.
When Keerthi Suresh was asked regarding working with Nag Ashwin, she said to another leading media portal Bollywoodlife – “We had the narration session for almost three hours. Until someone else has told, I would have never known or felt that the director has little experience. The very thought of making a biopic on Savitri amma itself is very mature. Not everybody can think like that or pull it off as he did. I never had any apprehensions about his experience because he has done his part well.”
The film is all set to hit theatres at the end of this March in Tamil and Telugu. Further reports suggest the movie can be dubbed in Malayalam also.
