Amitabh Bachchan fans took to Twitter recently demanding Bharat Ratna for the superstar #BharatRatnaForBACHCHAN, which has now become viral.

In 2011, Lata Mangeshkar said, “Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan should be awarded the Bharat Ratna.

The singer said that Mr. Bachchan deserves Bharath Ratna post she was presented with the first-ever Hridaynath Award by Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan fans in the audience greeted this ceremony with much love and affection. And, even today the love and pride for the talented actor Big B are still alive in the people’s heart.

Regarding the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is now gearing up for the release of his next movie 102 Not Out, which is being presented by Sony Pictures Releasing International, in association with Treetop Entertainment and Benchmark Pictures.

The movie which is touted as a father and son comical story, features, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles is all set to hit theatres on this 4th May.

Big B will also be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in Thugs of Hindostan.

On the other side, the legendary actors Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan will be working together on the big screen after 27 years. Though, the duo doesn’t ‘feel the gap’.

Throwing light about his experience of sharing the screen with Amitabh in the upcoming movie “102 Not Out”, Rishi told the media here on Thursday: “We worked in this film after 27 years but from the time we went on the set, we started rehearsing. We did not feel the gap between these years.”

“I feel proud to say that I have been working with him for the last 44 years. Our first film was ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ (1976) and the last time we worked together was in ‘Ajooba’ (1991).”

“I believe if you are appreciating my performance, it is due to my co-artistes. If they don’t perform well enough for your reaction, then your reaction would go wrong,” said the megastar.

“So I would like to compliment Rishiji and Jimit for this film. Whenever you see (a movie), if you like it or don’t like it, it depends on their performance too. Our performances are the reflection of their performances,” he added.
